Special Education Training Alliance (SETA)
Students of Ipswich Special School may be enrolled in one or more VET certificate courses offered through Special Education Training Alliance (SETA) that are taught at Ipswich Special School by VET trained school staff. These courses are overseen and managed by the SETA central RTO based at Western Suburbs Special School (RTO 41021). On successful completion of the course each student is awarded a nationally recognised qualification. If a student does not complete the full qualification, they would then receive a Statement of Attainment outlining the units that have been successfully completed.
The courses available at Ipswich Special School are:
- SIT10222 – Certificate I in Hospitality
- AHC10222 – Certificate I in Agriculture
- CHC14015 – Certificate I in Active Volunteering
